LPA Futures Oliver Haupt lends a vintage feel to the dawn of air combat with these images which recall the days of World War Two, with its disquieting apparatus of tanks and machine guns. Oliver's interesting compositions, give the illusion of looking through portholes into another era of days gone by. They achieve a balance between nostalgia and the hard hitting reality of war, portrayed both on the ground and in the air. Oliver is talented at creating a symbiosis between his characters and their environments, allowing us to imagine complete stories within a single photograph.
