New LPA Photographer Signing – Sam Bowen

We are very excited to introduce LPA's most recent discovery - people, portrait and street photographer Sam Bowen!  Sam's clever ideas for personal projects and distinctive style really captured our attention so we didn't want to miss the opportunity of snapping him up!

Sam discovered a love for photography early on, and in 2003 he decided to take what had started as a hobby, much more seriously, determined to understand as much about the craft as possible. From this point on Sam began assisting various photographers and assisted on shoots for Vanity Fair, Sports Relief, Vogue and the Royal Opera House among many others before going it alone and building up his own clients, including Warner Music, UBS Investment Bank, The London symphony Orchestra and American Express UK.

Aside from photography, Sam has worked within the media and communications world for many years, most recently running the UK arm of an international PR agency. This has given him an inherent understanding of the importance of branding and working with global clients, which he feels gives him an edge when it comes to photography.

We love Sam's strong contrasting images and his ability to shoot anywhere and everywhere, in his own words, capturing 'the innate absurdism of the everyday'. Whether it's shooting commissioned work or personal projects Sam's commitment to making interesting photographs is endless.
