LPA Futures photographer Michael Whelan was recently commissioned by the agency This Is Real Art to shoot some reportage style images for Musicians' Union. Michael captured various musicians in a reportage style while they rehearsed and practiced in the studios. The result are these beautifully lit black and white images:
