Michael Heffernan / Urdang Academy

Michael Heffernan was recently commissioned by Urdang Academy in central London to document their fabulous students in training. One of the UK's leading performing arts schools, Urdang Academy runs many of the best Dance and Musical Theatre classes in the country. Renowned for it's cultural diversity and cutting-edge approaches to teaching, Michael was not short of fascinating performers to spend time with.

Shot over the course of three weeks, Michael said "it was a pleasure to record this group of dedicated performers as they were guided by the skilled team of Urdang's teaching staff".
