Michael Heffernan/Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust/Moving Brands

Michael Heffernan was recently commissioned by Moving Brands to shoot a library of images for the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Shot over three days, the brief was to photograph current patients in hospital and also people at home who have received successful treatment. Images from the shoot have recently been used in press campaigns in the UK.

Here’s what the Marsden had to say about Michael.

“It’s always a pleasure working with Michael. It’s very unpredictable photographing in a working hospital, you have to continiously improvise and be very sensitive to your surroundings which Michael is excellent at. He also works quickly without fuss and a lot of kit, which is just what’s needed. Staff and patients frequently feedback after the event about how much they enjoy working with him, which makes our life a lot easier.”
