LPA Photographers / Tim Atkins / Tish Restaurant

Food and drinks photographer and previous Futures winner Tim Atkins has been shooting non-stop this summer, most recently for new restaurant, Tish, based in Belsize Park.  Capturing both food, drink and interiors for this shoot, Tim took the lead on the imagery for the restaurant (which opened it's doors on Sunday). Working closely with both the owner and also the interior designer / architect Daniel Monk, Tim shot these images with the restaurants ethos in mind.

The restaurant is Kosher as David, the owner, is Jewish and this is at the heart of the cooking and food preparation. However, the owner also wanted to offer fantastic food for the locals in the area as well as the Jewish community, which is why the menu offers Jewish classics as well as contemporary dishes.

Shooting the food in the restaurant with the pink stone and marble bars as the backdrop for the images, Tim fulfills the brief perfectly here.
