LPA Futures / Will Hartley / Spring Break

Documentary and lifestyle photographer Will Hartley recently travelled to Cancun, Mexico to document Spring Break. In Will's own words he says he went to Cancun to document the Spring Break culture because "he was intrigued to find out what happens with young people at Spring Break and how different it was to his own experience of growing up".

Talking about his time there, Will says "Cancun had everything that goes into a Spring Break cocktail; vibrant youth culture full of life and promiscuity". This is reflected perfectly in Will's images.

Will describes the experience as being not that far from what he imagined Spring Break to be like. There were "groups of college kids chanting 'Spring Break', pool parties filled with couples making out, drinking competitions, girls stripping and guys flexing their muscles..."

We love how these images perfectly capture the action and excitement of Spring Break, while also capturing more serene moments in comparison. Amazing work!
