LPA Futures 2017/2019 - Nearly time to announce the winners!
It's all go go go here at LPA HQ as the next roster of LPA Futures has been selected and will be announced at the launch party on May 10th, followed by here on the website on the 11th.
In case you weren't aware (where have you been!?) LPA run a competition to find 5 emerging photographers every couple of years. We ask a panel of industry experts to help us choose the talent and then represent them for a 2 year period. They also win lots of other helpful prizes courtesy of our generous sponsors (see below).
A couple of weeks ago we held the live judging here at our great studio space in Camden. We're not just saying this, but the standard of entries this year was stronger than ever and we had more than 120 entries. As you can imagine, it was a tough mission to choose the final 5, but the judges did a superb job and it was fascinating hearing all the different perspectives and the debate.
We are really looking forward to working with the new LPA Futures roster and have been busy meeting them all and selecting their work for the private view, the LPA website and their printed portfolios.
The winners are still top secret until our launch party in May, but here is a quick recap of the prizes, our sponsors, and of course the judges who worked together to choose the winners. Thank you for all your support, we wouldn't be able to do it without you!
