Kerry Harrison/Moving Image
Kerry Harrison has been booked for as many moving image commissions as stills this month. Kerry will be directing his second TV commercial and also directing a short film for the public sector. This short film about the printmaker and surface pattern designer Miriam Trent was personal work. Kerry wanted to create an uplifting film in a documentary style and plans to develop this into a series when time allows. He chose to direct, shoot and edit this himself to keep the process manageable and low key but worked with sound recordist Rob Julian to make sure that the audio was crisp and well recorded. The music is a piece that Kerry wrote some years ago in his previous career as a musician.
