LPA Photographers / British Journal of Photography / Portrait of Britain Awards 2020
LPA are over the moon to announce that once again, two LPA photographers have been recognised by the Portrait of Britain Awards this year, Paul Craig and Imogen Forte!
The Portrait of Britain award is a nationwide photography exhibition, run by the British Journal of Photography in partnership with JCDacaux screens. It has grown exponentially since it’s inception in 2016 and has been recognised globally as a ground breaking award demonstrating the rich tapestry of people living in the UK today.
100 winning portraits will be displayed on JCDecaux screens across the country, and 200 shortlisted entries will be featured in the Portrait of Britain book, which is this distributed worldwide!
This year, LPA’s newest photographer, Paul Craig’s portrait of Kemeel in Leeds was selected as one of the 100 winning images and will be in both the book and on the digital screens across the country!
And Imogen Forte’s portrait of Emily in Whitby has been shortlisted and will appear in the book, the second year running for Imogen whose image Wilfred and Wilfred also appeared in last years book!
Congratulations to both Paul and Imogen, amazing portraits!
