Following the AOP virtual awards show this week, we are delighted to announce that Nick David’s film, ‘Made in Japan’ made in collaboration with Jack Flynn, has won Gold!

Shot last year, Nick and Jack travelled to Okayama in Japan to meet the artisans who have been making Japanese Denim, on the old fashioned looms, for generations. The film, which showcases the beauty of the techniques used to make the denim, won the photojournalism moving image category of the AOP Awards, and will be displayed at a special exhibition early next year.

The exhibition will take place at One Canada Square in Canary Wharf and will be open to the public and run from the 11th January until the 26th February 2021!
