LPA Futures winner Frankie Turner has been adding to her portfolio recently with a test shoot based around drinks, collaborating with her brother, Ben!

Taking timeout in the studio to test is one of Frankie’s favourite things, she says it allows her to create without having to refer back to a brief. However while testing, Frankie tends to keep brands in mind, and shoots images she feels will work well commercially.

For these images, Frankie simply focused on colour, composition and how the product itself looked. Shot in the studio, she’s been able to show off her lighting techniques with flash, and often tricky to shoot, glass.

Frankie collaborated with her brother Ben Turner, who recently completed, and passed, an intense 4 week bartending course in Amsterdam. The pair wanted to combine their skills to create some new shots for both their portfolios. With hopes to go on to work in some of the top bars in the city. Ben is also looking further into Drinks styling and beginning to learn more about how to style for shoots, as well as making great tasting drinks.
