‘Timeout sent me to capture the mood at the PDC World Darts Championship. The darts lived up to its high expectations; as expected, it’s a fun-loving boozy play pen for adults. There is a considerable amount of dressing up and tongue-in-cheek goading during the game. The audience's attention is split between singing and watching the game itself, played out on a small stage by not particularly athletic-looking men.
