Tis the season to be…merry? Well it certainly is in the eyes of Martin Lomas as he graces our screens with his series entitled ‘Winter Tipples’…

‘As we transition from the sun-soaked days of summer to the cosy embrace of winter, I couldn't help but ponder the age-old debate: Are winter cocktails better than their summertime counterparts? While both seasons offer their unique charms and libations, I find myself increasingly leaning toward the allure of the warm rich flavours of the dark spirits and herby garnishes. 

I love the alluring shift from clean, summer spritzes to the warm embrace of a winter tipple. Farewell to Aperol, hello autumnal Americano. Goodbye to Gin and welcome the winter Whisky.
