IMOGEN FORTE / THIS GIRL CAN

In 2015 the This Girl Can campaign was developed by Sport England and funded by the National Lottery to celebrate a realistic vision of women and exercise in England and to tackle the gender activity gap.

Traditionally sport has been male-dominated, however, in recent years this ideal has been smashed through more and more women within the sector, be that in a personal or professional capacity. This campaign, shot by our very own Imogen Forte and commissioned by FCB Inferno, focused on ‘women enjoying sport in a safer, more suitable, self-affirming and social environment.’

The focal point of this project was collaboration, showcasing stories from different sporting groups, all of who promote the message ‘This Girl Can’. The idea was to celebrate the defiance of the women who have had to overcome societal barriers to get active and inspire those around to be part of the solution.

A fabulous campaign, one of which we are so happy for us and Imogen to be a part of.
