JACK ABBOTT / FINISTERRE
Jack was back shooting for Finisterre but this time he swapped his surf board for the Sock Factory. Heading inside the warehouse to meet the men behind the machine Jack documented their process on both film and digital.
The factory has been in the Swift family for 4 generations, opening in 1895. They specialise in natural fibre sock making (and I love myself a good pair of socks).
We filmed an interview with Neil at the helm and photographed the people and makers in the whole process. It was amazing to see how it all comes together in so many different stages and the bond over something so special everyone had.
