Orlando Gili recently ventured south to beautifully capture the moments shared by the friends and family of Breaky Bottom. They embraced the role of grape pickers for two weekends, and in appreciation, were treated to lavish mid-day feasts complemented by the vineyard's globally acclaimed sparkling white wine. Room for one more?!

‘Every autumn friends and family of @breaky_bottom descend upon the secluded South Downs Sussex vineyard and become grape pickers, in return they are rewarded by a mid-day feast. Food is naturally paired with wine maker Peter Hall’s acclaimed sparkling white, made from the classic Champagne varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. With Peter's children recruited amongst longstanding friends and neighbours, the whole thing is very much a family affair.’ Orlando Gili
