With the NHS’s biggest vaccination process in history currently underway in the UK, photographer Paul Craig felt that this momentous occasion should be documented.

Paul’s sister in law, Safia, is a practice nurse and invited Paul to come down to GP Practice to shadow staff and patients as the vaccine rollout took place.

The staff working hard to administer the vaccine were a mixture of GPs Nurses and Pharmacists all working together as a team with some volunteers providing additional support directing and greeting people.

Two of the volunteers where a couple who, during the week both worked long hours for the NHS, and were choosing to spend their weekends volunteering unpaid to help out at the vaccination hubs.

Paul said there was a really positive feeling in the air at the practice, with many patients telling stories of feeling relieved to get their vaccine after months shielding.
