Tim Atkins has been expanding the drinks section of his portfolio while on lockdown, and captured these beautiful Rhubarb cocktails.

Working from his studio at his home in East London, Tim completed every aspect of this shoot himself, including the set design and styling, as well as obviously the photography!

Starting with a an old board that wasn’t perfectly smooth in order to add texture to the backdrop, he wanted to layer pink on top of pink, which meant finding a cocktail with just the right shade of pink was vital.

From working with the Great British Chef’s, whom he has worked for regularly and last year completed all the photography for their first ever cook book, he knew that they would have a cocktail recipe on their website that would be suitable. He found a recipe for a Rhubarb cocktail which is steeped in Gin or Vodka overnight, which in turn pulls out the beautiful flavour as well as that perfect pink colour.
