LPA Pop Up Agent / Tim Dunk / FaceTim

LPA Pop Up Agent has been busy recently, helping photographers without agents on all questions big and small! We’ve been giving advice on terms and conditions, fees, usage licenses and tender applications through both our ‘speedy’ consultancy sessions and our in depth commission based service.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Tim Dunk, a Leeds based photographer who hasn’t let the small problem of a global pandemic stifle his creativity. While we’ve all had to get used to remote working and holding team meetings over Zoom, Tim has taken it one step further by holding photoshoots through FaceTime.

Using the technology of video calls and a special app that facilitates remote shooting, Tim has been taking portraits of people in their own homes from the comfort of his. As the pioneer of this remote, mobile based technology, Tim has held over 500 sessions capturing and editing beautiful portraits of people during a time when we have been unable to meet in person. Due to the nature of the work, Tim has been able to connect with people all around the world, reaching those he may not have been able to even before lockdown.

We’re delighted to have assisted Tim in winning a commission from a London based creative agency for a leading UK jewellery brand, helping to move his remote portraits into the commercial sphere. At a time of continued uncertainty and ongoing restrictions, Tim can ensure nothing stands in the way of your shoot going ahead, whether because of bans on international travel or nationwide lockdowns. Tim can shoot engaging content for clients and subjects worldwide without the pandemic getting in the way.
