LPA photographer Tim Atkins has has been shooting for artisan pasta company, Pasta Evangelists, again recently, continuing to help the company improve their imagery over the whole brand.

The brief here was to have the images be as product focused as possible, and shoot the food in way that is believable, honest and also brings out those creamy texture in the pasta dishes in the best way possible.

Shooting at Tim’s studio in Stock Newington and working with food stylist Emily Kydd as well as the props from Tim’s studio, the pair worked together to fulfil the brief perfectly!

Tim says that they had all seasons that day, which meant they were able to capture strong summery light with shadows that looks like its been captured in the Tuscan Hills of Italy. Whereas later in the day they used the light from the setting sun to capture the '‘Carbonara of Dreams’ on a grey surface in a more Autumnal image to emphasis the warming winter dish.

The ‘Wild Mushroom’ dish Tim shot is currently on adverts in London’s underground stations and will be for the rest of the month, keep your eyes peeled to spot it for yourself!
