Food and drink photographer Steven Joyce has been capturing images for family run, handmade pasta company, Pasta e Basta, recently.

Steve met Fabrizio and Raminta, the husband and wife team behind Pasta e Basta, around 6 years ago while he was shooting for ES Magazine, and kept in touch with them over the years. Earlier this year the couple got back in touch with Steve to say that they’d love to do a shoot at Steve’s studio, Kemble House!

The brief here was to capture Pasta E Basta’s beautiful dishes, ingredients and also shots of Fabrizio and Raminta themselves hand-making the pasta. The pair also wanted to keep a dark, atmospheric feel to the images, with an emphasis on the hand made element of what they do.

Working with food stylist Rosie Ramsden, Steve captured these mouth-watering images!
